i fear orb

Neat idea! Working out which block type did what was interesting. I grabbed a sky diamond on I think the third screen or so? but that made it disappear so I had no reason to climb on the other screens, which felt odd. No screenresetting also felt odd, but maybe intentional. Cool stuff as always.

Really fun and definite Starseed vibes. I  most loved learning what each element did and how they combined.

The levels seemed to be trivial to get past. Some gave me a couple of pauses, but not for more than 5-10 seconds. You could often just mash lightning through a level.

A little past halfway I realized that I probably need to try climbing up to the orb at some point myself - the game wasn't going to tell me to do that. So I picked my current level, and it was tricky to get the orb, but no major issues. I had to use infinite wall jump twice, and coyote time jumping many times. Without those platforming abilities, it would've been a serious puzzle that required real thinking and planning.

I'm glad it didn't require too much planning though, because it was really hard to tell what the chain reaction would result in. The lightning hitting the 8 cells around you was super clear, but the combination of other elements became less clear and felt more random. I'm sure it's learnable, but it would require a lot of time to learn the nuances.

This is PaperSpock! I'm a little surprised that I cleared the stage, I feel like I only figured out a fraction of what was going on. I got that the lightning hit runes and caused chain reactions in different ways depending on the runes, but I didn't expect getting to the top of a single screen then journeying across the screens all the way to the right to count as a win. I also never figured out what was up with the background changing color over time, though I expected something Starseed-y to happen maybe. Anyway, thanks for sharing this, despite not really understanding much of what happened, other than just enough to climb to the top of a single screen, I had fun.

Obscure! I got 5 mostly by leaping from pillar to pillar I think. There is clearly more for me to learn.

Echoing some of the other comments, it does feel very droqen in ways that Starseed does also, but I wouldn't compare it to Starseed specifically

I got 3 orbs total. This was cool I liked it a lot! Many didnt seem possible and it felt like it was very easy to completely screw up in the beginning- but I kind of liked having to abandon a tower.

I love how precarious Big Orb feels, the way it encourages you to play thoughtfully and carefully.

It's slightly strange that so many of the towers can be summited by climbing the tower next to them and jumping over... the wall jump is also Very Powerful in a way that often lets you avoid puzzling.

A very interesting and lovely experience!
